The DfE conditions of grant for the Early Years Expansion Grant 2025-26, published on 28 February 2025, do not require formal consultation to be undertaken with the Schools’ Forum or the early years sector. The conditions of grant require local authorities to communicate provider funding rates within 6 weeks of DfE’s publication of rates, that is by 10 April 2025; this timescale does not allow for a formal consultation to be undertaken. The Schools’ Forum and the early years sector will be notified of the Early Years Expansion Grant 2025-26 in early March 2025 and there will be opportunity for comments and feedback to be provided. |
No formal consultation will be undertaken. However, the North Yorkshire Schools Forum will be notified of the Early Years Expansion Grant 2025-26 at the meeting on 13 March 2025.
